AT SEA, WITH YOU, SINCE 1981

Having studied photography in Tournai and then cinema in Paris. Fed is the team's artistic eye. He discovered sailing during vacations with friends, on numerous trips to the Mediterranean. This passion later led me to take part in Dragon (classic sailboat) regattas, including the Gold Cup. An occasional skipper on trips to Corsica and Croatia, this board sports enthusiast now devotes more time to windsurfing and, more recently, wing-foil.

Jean-Louis has spent most of his professional career in the financial world; first with Citigroup in Mexico and then London before spending eight years as Director of Private Banking at INVEX. In 2017 he joined JPMorgan as Managing Director and Head of Private Banking for Mexico. In 2020 Jean-Louis returns to London, still with JPMorgan, before launching JLG Advisory and Consulting in Madrid in 2023. In parallel with this, Jean-Louis has always been very involved in the world of sailing. First with windsurfing, then with sailboats. During his studies at Louvain LN, he created Rock Évasion to take students skiing in winter and sailing in summer. A few years later, he did it again with GeoWind. Finally, Jean-Louis and his associates took over Dynamer in 2022 to devote himself almost full-time to his passion for spreading the word about sailing!

The youngest member of the crew, Léandre is by no means the least experienced. After 3 years with Michel&Augustin, launching the French cookie brand in Belgium, he left everything behind to move to Brittany and prepare for the Mini-Transat, the famous solo race from Brittany to the West Indies on small 6.50m-long walnut shells. Today, no more racing boats; Léandre concentrates on cruising and will help you find the destination that best suits your desires. As a regular skipper for ByTheSea customers, he keeps abreast of the latest developments in the charter world.

Olivier started sailing during his bio-engineering studies in Louvain-la-Neuve. During these years, Olivier actively participated in the organization of numerous sailing trips, both as an organizer and as a skipper. Following his studies, Olivier passed his yacht navigator's certificate and then obtained a commercial navigation license (STCW95). Thanks to this license, Olivier has skippered as a professional for around ten years, sailboats from 20 meters to 30 meters in the various traditional charter areas, the Mediterranean, the West Indies but also in Australia, New Zealand, French Polynesia, etc.... Olivier has a passion for classic sailboats. This passion has led him to take part in numerous traditional regattas aboard Moonbeam III, Tuiga, Adela, Puritain and, more recently, Elena of London.

Tom has lived several professional lives. First and foremost in financial information with Reuters in London, Switzerland, Paris and Brussels. Then he took over a company involved in packaging perfume bottles and spirits. Today, Tom is one of the owners of Kick And Rush, a company active in the promotion of brands through objects. Tom became passionate about sailing while studying at the University of Leuven. He was active in the University of Louvain Yacht Club with many friends. Many cruises followed with these same friends and their children, to whom they pass on the same passion for sailing and travel.
